I worked with Shaw Trust supporting a project that offered horticultural therapy to people suffering with mental health issues – with a diagnosis of depression or anxiety. The project offered a holistic approach to well-being via learning and participating in growing vegetables and contributing to the local environment. 72 clients benefitted from the project with many gaining confidence and improved self-esteem – often undervalued qualities in the qualification based world we live in.
