Sara has worked as head gardener managing the restoration whilst running several events such as team challenges with local community and business.

Her main contribution was in the restoration of this 12th century Grade II listed parks gardens set in 3.2 acres beside the River Thames.  She oversaw the change of use from being a rather neglected and rarely used (apart from largely anti-social behaviour) garden to being a purple flag garden that is now accessed by all areas of the community all year round including the creation of allotment plots for people with physical and mental disabilities

Utilising her teaching experience she set up a programme with the probation service involving clients in the restoration of the park and delivered NVQ teaching on maintenance and landscaping skills for prisoners from Reading Prison.
